I am pleased to write a letter in support of Sahil Hashmi, whom I’ve known since 2005, when he was a Security Officer, working in a high-rise commission building in South Melbourne for me. After several months it became apparent to me that Mr Hashmi was grasping the leadership space quickly; as a result, he was elevated to Security Manager at a large commercial Building in the Melbourne CBD. In time his Management abilities florist and he was assisting me with various needs and sometimes taking the lead to mentor and support over Managers within my portfolio. During this time, I was managing a significant portfolio to which Mr Hashmi, was a valuable contributor who took pride in delivering flawless and detailed reports. Mr Hashmi after several years decided to leave the business, to pursue he own security business Citadel Security. Currently Mr Sahil, has successfully driven his brand to deliver security solutions in various fields and employing over 50 personnel, I consider him not only a protégé, but also a close friend. Mr Sahil is a complete Security professional because he couldn’t be anything else. He leads from the front and is an innovative thinker, who is always looking for best practice and future thinking within the Security landscape. I am writing this letter in a view to highlight and recommend, Mr. Sahil Hashmi. I have known Sahil Hashmi for many years. I have seen him grow from when he was working as a Security Officer. He has proved himself and everyone around him by being promoted to various managerial roles when working for Wilson Security. After making his mark in the industry with his hard work and dedication, he finally pursued his dream and started up his own business (Citadel Security). Knowing his drive to succeed, his capability and reputation, he was given an opportunity at one of the shopping centres, under my management, during my time working as Operations Manager at JLL. Immediately, we could see that the services provided by him were far superior to the previous company (one of the top security companies). We were extremely thrilled and impressed with the overall service. He was heavily involved with the transition, continuous improvements, innovation, and upscaling. With his impressive run, he was then given further opportunities at additional four more shopping centres. He never failed to impress us. He is a true leader and leads by example. He has established his brand and I can only see his upward trajectory of success. I am confident that his brand will continue to grow and will be a major force in the security industry soon.

Over the past 7 years Citadel Security have been providing security services to Coburg North Village. At all times on site staff maintain a high level of security and service, with professional and conscientious work ethics. Staff are attentive and customer focused and work well with centre staff, retailers and customers. Their knowledge and standards in security is invaluable, often providing clear and precise explanation in regards to safety and procedures. All incidents, whether it be customer or retailer based are dealt with immediately and professionally with regular communication through to management verbally and through documented reports.
